Each and every one has extensive training & educational knowledge and skills within their highly specialised fields of emergency first aid response & rescue, medical incident & crisis management and health & safety high risk assessments including workplace violence and conflict resolution. Their combined experience encompasses the public and private sectors including the health care & nursing professions, emergency services, St. John's Ambulance, the British Red Cross, the N.I. Ambulance Service, police service, Armed Force's and other voluntary and commercial First Aid organisations and charities. Our team have also been carefully selected for their friendly and effective communication & inter personal skills, their ability to instill confidence in all course delegates as well as demonstrating delivering positive learning activities and achieveing course learning outcomes. Our team will help you identify organisational and individual training needs and design & deliver training & assessment sessions on a 24/7 basis, at your place or ours. We insist that all first aid Trainers & Assessors are approved by and registered with the Employment Medical Advisory Service (EMAS) of the Health & Safety Executive. (HSE). This is in addition to membership of any other professional organisation or awarding body. Our team of security specialists deliver conflict and workplace violence management training which is accredited by City & Guilds and is recognised by the Security Industry Authority (SIA).
ROBERT CARSON heads up our team of unique experts. As we’ve mentioned earlier, Robert has extensive and broad-based experience in the areas of indentifying and developing training strategies in relation to international community safety & conflict management, high risk H&S assessment & controls, crime prevention and protective security & policing measures. Robert is an independent international Safety and Security consultant, college lecturer & trainer specialising in the design and implementation of crisis avoidance strategies, including the training of key management and staff for ctiricial incident response & rescue situations, civil/security emergencies, public order and counter terrorism. Robert's expertise has been sought by clients across Europe, North America, Argentina, Australia, Hong Kong, India, and more recently in the Middle East.
LOYD JOHNS, our Director of Medical Training Services, is a former and long-serving army 'paramedic' & police first aid trainer for specialist units; he has behind him a wealth of ‘hands on’ experience of training/assessing personnel for high risk FAW emergency response situations. As an established certified HSE FAW trainer/assessor and member of St. John's Ambulance, he has vast and varied training/assessing expertise and experience within the public & private sectors of the health care and nursing professions. Lloyd is also an N/SVQ Trainer/Assessor (A1), is fully qualified in ATLS (Advanced Trauma Life Support Skills) & BARTS (Battlefield Advanced Resuscitation Techniques & Skills) and is an approved Royal Yatching Association (RYA) first aid instructor. Lloyd's extensive teaching/assessing skills and qualifications were further enhanced when he was awarded a Certificate in Education from Christ Church College, England. He is the HSE appointed Accountable Person for Northern Ireland Seals.
DENISE KEEGAN

DENISE KEEGAN is our team's Lead Assessor & Internal Verifier. She is a registered general nurse (RGN) with 16 years’ on-the-job experience occupying the roles of practitioner, trainer, assessor and manager. Denise spent 9 of these 16 years in Cardiology & Coronary Care, 4 years working with children with severe learning disabilities and 3 years managing a residential and day care facility for adults with learning difficulties. She has a BA Honours degree in Education, Certificate in Management (ILM), is an NVQ Assessor, a qualified HSE First Aid Trainer & Assessor and a qualified Moving and Handling Instructor. Denise is involved in developing many additional health care and medical courses including high risk personal safety, security and conflict management to Security Industry Authority standards. This form of training will benefit people who work with patients or customers who may display behavioural difficulties resulting in abusive. agrression or violence. Denise is a community youth leader and keep fit enthusiast who enjoys world travel in her leisure time.
MARTY SAUNDERS is our team's specialist safety and security consultant who is exceptionally experienced and qualified in high risk health & safety and emergency first aid response training & assessing skills for major incident management. Marty is a former Director of Military Infantry Training and possess a wealth of knowledge and skills in relation to generic educational systems of learning & achievement. Marty is a Senior Military Infantry Warrant Officer who is a registered and approved HSE First Aid at Work Trainer/Assessor. He is responsible for the design, delivery & development of specialist first aid learning packages for the private security sector with emphasis on high risk protective security medical response in hostile environments. He also provides specialised instruction in battlefield medical response and emergency first aid for safety & security professionals operating under combat conditions Marty is a military Health & Safety Advisor and Lead First Aid at Work Trainer/Assessor. His security & medical skills are particularly sought after by clients providing high risk close protection services, static security guards and convoy security escorts services in hostile environments including the Middle East. Marty is a qualified Conflict Management Trainer as required by the standards of the Security Industry Authority (SIA).
MIKE TRAFFORD is our teams' Emergency First Aid at Sea training & assessing expert. He is approved and registered with the Royal Yachting Association (RYA) to deliver Emergency First Aid at Sea and is a qualified HSE First Aid at Work Trainer/Assessor. Mike has extensive medical & first aid experience within the public and private sectors of health care & nursing and is presently our Lead FAW Trainer. He has over 40 years extensive training and hands-on experience in various aspects of emergency first aid at work response & rescue. Mike's expertise extends to dealing with sporting injuries and 'advanced' first aid techniques. As the holder of a Certificate in Education and various S/NVQ assessor & training awards, Mike is an invaluable asset to our team of professionals.
OUR TEAM comprises a number of carefully selected professional medical, safety & security practitioners, trainers, assessors and consultants. All are appropriately trained, qualified and accredited as required by the HSE, SIA or specific awarding body or professional association. Our team maintains close and regular contact with all our client's and as such, are able to monitor your requirements and accommodate, at short notice, large intakes of delegates for specific courses at any one time.
